Openings: Cleon Peterson – “The Brinksman” @ Guerrero Gallery

Last Saturday evening, Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco hosted the opening of Cleon Peterson’s latest solo exhibition entitled The Brinksman. The paintings in the show bring you into a world put on the brink through corruption and violence by figures that are motivated by their own selfish needs. Benefits: “Art on the Move” Auction @ White Walls

Opening tonight at the White Walls Gallery tonight in San Francisco will be a charity show benefiting the Oceanic Awareness Collaboration. Openings: Matthew Palladino – “Sweet Relief” @ Eli Ridgway Gallery

Saturday afternoon in San Francisco, Eli Ridgway Gallery opened its doors to Matthew Palladino’s latest solo show entitled Sweet Relief (previewed). Palladino brought his usual color palette and thought-provoking narrative (often using using common objects & repetition), expanding it into a three-dimensional form by creating painted relief sculptures utilizing re-purposed chocolate molds.
