This Saturday, February 2nd, Giant Robot 2 will be celebrating Chinese New Year early with their Year of the Snake group show. Featuring the work of Rob Sato, Aaron Woes, Jeremiah Ketner, Stella Hultberg, Luke Chueh, Deth P. Openings: “Ephemeral” @ Circleculture

Currently showing in Berlin is Ephemeral, a group exhibition (curated by Johann Haehling von Lanzenauer) held at a temporary space by Circleculture in collaboration with Pret A Diner in Berlin (you may remember their work with Lazarides in 2011). Preview: Victor Castillo – “Under Heavy Measures” @ Merry Karnowsky

This Saturday night (February 2nd) the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles will be home to a new solo show from Victor Castillo. Under Heavy Measures will consist of paintings on paper & canvas, sculptures, and sketches from the locally-based artist all created in the deceptively innocent style of illustrations for children’s stories.
