Joseph Nahmad, known for his pop-up events, recently presented a group show in New York’s Meatpacking district with Nemo Librizzi (who curated Futura’s recent showing at Valmorbida). El Mac x Adobe Campus (Utah)

The Los-Angeles based El Mac recently took another trip to the American Southwest (also see New Mexico) where he worked on a new project in Utah. This mural, created in his signature style, was completed on the Adobe campus just south of Salt Lake City and was organized by the RAPT Studio out of SF. Right after super storm Sandy rolled through NYC, we brought you an inside look at the famous Bowery & Houston wall as twins How & Nosm worked industriously to make their mark on this landmark mural location. Now, we can bring you some photos of the completed piece which utilized their signature red & gray-scale color palettes. After sharing Anthony Lister (filmed) work on the streets of London, here are now photos of some walls he painted in Newcastle as he ramps up for his simultaneous exhibitions opening on Friday (November 16th) at the Outsiders in both cities. Unslung Heroes is the title for the new paintings and sculptures as the Aussie street artist gets ready to be the the first to occupy both Outsiders locations since David Choe made his UK debut in 2008. Another highlight of AM’s Portland trip for the Space//Form exhibition at Breeze Block Gallery was a chance to meet up with long time online friend Blaine Fontana and take a look around his studio. KAWS x MTA wraparounds

Readers in New York should keep on the lookout for special trains decked out in KAWS imagery leading up to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. If you remember, the NY-based artist will have his Companion character realized as a 40-foot-long balloon for the parade and now has designed a matching look for the MTA Times Square Shuttle (3 whole cars inside and out). Currently showing at Lazarides’ main location (Rathbone Place) is a group exhibition that will give fans an idea of what kind of shows are planned through 2013 with the gallery. Along with some vintage Banksy works, on display were also some sublime paintings form Conor Harrington, new work from Faile with a slight twist, a piece from newcomer Know Hope and more (full list here).
