While in town for Basel Week Miami, the UK-based Hush (interviewed) spent some time working on some murals with his signature East meets West urban imagery. The main wall was adjacent to the pool at Boulon South Beach, luxury condominiums in the Collins Park Neighborhood. Hush also had some paintings showing at the Corey Helford Gallery booth at PULSE. We’ll have more on that later but for now, enjoy more photos he sent us below… Discuss Basel Week Miami here. Discuss Hush here.

With a hugely popular retrospective that just closed at the Berkeley Art Museum, Barry McGee exhibited two new pieces with his new New York gallery Cheim and Read in its booth at Art Basel Miami Beach. A gigantic skull painting by Donald Baechler was another highlight, as it stared blankly at fair-goers.
