Ron English (featured) and Secret Base have a special treat for your Halloween celebrations. They have teamed up to to produce a limited edition “Super Size Me” figure from English, but this time, a Halloween skeletalÂ edition.Â The figure comes in two colors and will be available from Armth. Openings: Joe Ledbetter – “Birds & Bees” @ Artoyz (Paris)

After moving from London to Amsterdam, Joe Ledbetter hit up Paris for the third leg of his European Amalgamation Tour (details here). This time, with a show at Artoyz entitled “Birds and Bees,” Joe once again brought a new body of work including paintings, sketches, prints and a special colorway of his Terror and Magnus toys. Joe Ledbetter kicked off his “Amalgamation Tour” last week at the London Miles Gallery.Â During this five city European event, Joe will be showing at five different galleries in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, and Istanbul (details here).Â For his UK fans, he brought a mostly new body of work which encompassed paintings, drawings, prints, and various art products – including the release of the European variant of his new Terror and Magnus toy. Releases: Murakami – Inochi Figures

The Inochi figures from Takashi Murakami, that we first featured here in April when they were exhibited at Kaikai Kiki, are finally going on sale tomorrow, August 28th at honeyee.Â The figures are small scale replicas of the Murakami sculpture (seen here) with production handled by Medicom. Limited to 200 of each of the five colorways, it will cost you a cool $1500 to bring “Zhang,” “Victor,” “Bob,” “David,” or “Yamamoto” home. More pics after the jump.

Releases: Kaws x Undercover Bear Companion

Here are some new images of the collaboration release from Undercover with their classic “eye-censored” bear and Kaws’ companion figure.Â Sitting together, perhaps Mori Chack-style, the figure comes in white as well as black.Â Priced at about $135, look for the release on August 29th at Undercover locations across Japan and perhaps Original Fake as well. Releases: Brandi Milne – Humpty Dumpty Plushes

Brandi Milne recently put up these hand-crafter and hand-painted Humpty Dumpty plushes up for sale on her website.Â She states that she was inspired by “the character Humpty Dumpty and Alice In Wonderland’s Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum” when creating these.Â She is currently hard at work on her next solo show scheduled for June 2010. Releases: KAWS Gray 4FT Dissected Companion

AM has just received information on the release of KAWS‘ Gray 4FT Dissected Companion, the second in his series of towering, anatomically exposed vinyl creations. Not for the faint of heart or the spatially deprived, these monsters will be set loose at the end of the month to those lucky few OriginalFake account holders. Much like the original Brown version, this monochromatic colorway will most likely be in an edition of 100 and retail for approximately $6000US. No word yet on an unlikely official kawsone.com […]

The Japanese American National Museum is holding an exhibition (previewed) until October 4th about all things “Kokeshi.”Â However, the highlight of the show were the custom kokeshi’s created by many of the artists that we at AM enjoy.Â It’s not often we see such an extensive list of quality artists in a group show, let alone a customs show.
