The Regional Museum of Contemporary Art in Sérignan, France is currently showing the nostalgic abstractions of Rosson Crow (featured). Featuring 25 large-scale paintings (old and new) from the American artist, the comprehensive exhibition, her largest ever, gives attendees a good look at the psychedelic modern take on decadent interiors from the past that have become her signature imagery. With the opening of his Los Angeles exhibition scheduled in less than three weeks, KAWS will give the public another high profile look at his imagery with the launch of Pharrell’s fragrance “G I R L” this week. After sharing photos of the high profile installation and an in depth look at the creation of new commissioned pieces for his new show in Shanghai, we now turn our attention to Cai Guo-Qiang’s explosive opening festivities at the Power Station of Art. The multi-color aerial spectacular hosted at the riverfront of the museum was a crowd pleaser and highlighted the firework art skills from the Chinese artist.
