Brooklyn’s Cotton Candy Machine will host a dual exhibition with Brandi Milne and Camilla d’Errico (above) with the opening scheduled for tonight. After a showing there in 2011, Mel Kadel returns to the Merry Karnowsky Gallery for another exhibition this weekend. Entitled Stuck On A Wave, the new work features her delicate pen strokes and renderings of her characters frolicking in vibrant patterns and interlocking shapes. After simultaneous showings back in May at Team Gallery locations in New York (covered here & here), Ryan McGinley traveled to Japan for a solo at the Tomio Koyama Gallery. This Friday night (October 12th), the Roq La Rue Gallery will be welcoming in new works from Italian painter Marco Mazzoni in an exhibition entitled River of Milk.
