On Sunday, October 14th (1pm-6pm), the Known Gallery in Los Angeles will be holding book release party for Hello Kitty, Hello Art!, a hardcover collectible book featuring works of art inspired by Sanrio characters including of course – the beloved Hello Kitty. Upping the ante, a group exhibition of all new art will be on display including custom chandeliers by Adam Wallacavage, a neon installation by RISK, and new works by 64 Colors, AIKO, Caia Koopman, DABS MYLA, Kenton Parker, Niagara, Shepard Fairey and Simone Legno — all incorporating a rainbow of Sanrio characters. Of note, the event will also feature over thirty new paintings by graffiti artist POSE (see video below).
