With the Olympics coming to an end, all of London celebrated with a star-studded and rousing closing ceremony featuring some of England’s greatest cultural exports. Damien Hirst was asked to design one of the many renditions of the Union Jack in his signature spin-painting looking motif which was unveiled as part of the event. In preparation for his upcoming show at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, artist Joe Sorren (featured) has a fresh print lined up for fans. Entitled My Aim Is True, the Arizona-based artist mentioned that its title is from an Elvis Costello song he was listening to while painting and conveyed the concept of “faith” of which the painting was getting at.
