We only caught of glimpse of noted “venture philanthropist” Eli Broad at the Art in the Streets opening a couple weeks ago, but apparently Morley Safer was able to spend more time time with him for the latest segment of 60 Minutes. The engaging interview touched on many topics including the self-made billionaire’s charitable goals and philosphies, his art collection, and the love-hate relationship the art community has with him.

Although it was surprising Los Angeles did not get gifted any new Banksy pieces in the weeks leading up to the opening of the MOCA Art in the Streets exhibition, it looks like the anonymous street artist has produced a new piece in his native land. This stencil, which has not been confirmed on Mr. B’s website yet, appeared in central London over the Easter holiday and is in the same area where his famous One Nation Under CCTV used to be.
