The Internet is abuzz with speculation that the Banksy mural that recently appeared in New York’s Soho is in fact a notice of an upcoming NYC show, perhaps at Deitch. Vicious rumor? Fact or fiction? Only time will tell. AM will keep you informed.

The world famous Supreme is at it again. Their latest “artist skate deck”Â isÂ withÂ contemporary artistÂ ChistopherÂ Wool. Each skatedeck is designed as a work of art. This Saturday, Aurel Schmidt opens her second solo show Maneater at Soho’s Deitch Projects. For those not familiar with the work of this exciting emerging artist, Schmidt’s intricate and detailed drawings combine small elements such as bugs and cigarettes into beautiful and grotesque compositions. Had the opportunity to check out the “Beyond Baby Tattooville” exhibit at the Riverside Art Museum a couple weeks back. Strangely enough, opening night is on Oct 4th to coincide with the weekend of Baby Tattooville, but the work was put up for public viewing on Sept 4th. Jeff Soto dropped a teaser image of his studio that shows some work for his upcoming solo show “Turning in Circles” at the Riverside Art Museum. We are sure his first museum show will be epic.
