Preview: Beastie Boys Tribute Show @ Gallery 1988 LA

Known for putting on some of the best themed group shows on the West coast, Gallery 1988 LA delivers yet again with “Under The Influence: An Official Art Tribute to Beastie Boys” opening January 8th @ 7pm.

The lineup of almost 100 artists were tasked with interpreting the songs, lyrics, music videos, and unique style of the group. With a portion of the proceeds from the show benefiting The Gramercy Housing Group and artwork that conjures up childhood memories, this show is undoubtedly Licensed to Ill.
