Opening tomorrow night at Jonathan LeVine Gallery is James Marshall’s (interviewed) latest show entitled “And There Was War in Heaven.” With this new body of work, the artist formerly known as Dalek continues down the path of near-total geometric abstraction, with few or no references remaining to his early space monkey character. In addition, Marshall has created several paintings with a more simplified style and a very recession-friendly pricing, which will no doubt interest old and new Dalek collectors alike.
