Opening this Saturday at Bed Stuy’s vanguard Brooklynite Gallery is “Make It Fit,” a show featuring Brooklyn-based artist Specter and the German duo of Various & Gould. The theme of the exhibition is “work,” with the artists using their skill and ingenuity to transform found and discarded materials into a visual investigation of what the concept of work means to them. We anticipate that the artists will not only transform the materials, but the gallery itself, making it into an installation best experienced in person. We’re looking forward to doing just that this weekend.
