One of the busiest indoor malls (with more than 200,000 visitors a day) in Hong Kong’s Time Square recently played host to the work of Mike Stilkey (interviewed). The entire ground floor featured some of his signature book / painting installations with the largest piece standing 24 feet high. The Los Angeles-based artist had already worked in Asia earlier in the year installing his work at high end retail giant Joyce for their flagship stores in Hong Kong and Beijing. Look for a solo later this year from Stilkey at LeBasse Projects.
