Last weekend, Galerie Itinerrance opened a solo show from Shepard Fairey (featured) that brought a brought full circle a project he started back in November of last year with an installation (covered) between the first and second floor of the Eiffel Tower entitled Earth Crisis. Along with a mural he painted earlier this month in Paris (covered), the series of works created in turquoise and blue is complete – pieces that the American artist hopes will remind us to take care of our air, water, and vegetation as well as to preserve our planet. Take a look at more photos from the opening below including some large and small replicas of the globe that was seen at the Eiffel Tower last year. Also, read what Shep had to say about the exhibition here.
