Since the TrustoLand installation and show at Art Basel Week Miami last year, we haven’t had any updates on satiric street pranksters TrustoCorp. After celebrating his 1000th piece placed in the streets with a huge show in Paris, it looks like Invader is continuing onward towards 2000. Take a look at these new pieces in the Brazilian street art mecca of São Paulo. Again it’s been a busy couple of weeks for street art in London. AM was happy to catch sight of some new work by Mr Penfold, collaborating with Sweet Toof and a brilliant bandit style shutter with the prolific Malarky whose work seems to be going up everywhere. It’s nice to see street legend Futura active in New York again. The last time we saw him hit up his home city, he was creating an epic collaboration piece with Os Gemeos at a Chelsea public school (P.S. 11). Shepard Fairey and his mural attacked in Copenhagen

As you know, Shepard Fairey’s (featured) was just in Copenhagen for his show at V1 Gallery (covered). We had privately been told by multiple sources that him and Romeo Trinidad of OBEY Clothing had been attacked while in town, but didn’t want to write about it until there was official word released (which just happened). Suffice it to say, it was a complicated situation in part perpetuated by misinformation in the press surrounding the first mural in a series of murals he did on the streets. […]

Copenhagen has been a pretty popular destination for international artists recently. After only recently been gifted multiple murals from Shepard Fairey’s (featured), who was in town for his solo show (covered), renowned graffiti king COPE2 arrived to paint his famous “bubble” tags on an adjacent wall next to one of Shep’s pieces.
