Benefits: 2016 MTV RE:DEFINE Auction

Every year, the MTV RE:DEFINE Auction raises money for the Dallas Contemporary and MTV Staying Alive Foundation (HIV awareness and prevention). The fifth edition this year is no different with the online auction on Paddle8 which culminates which an art and music showcase on April 8th. This past weekend, MOCA presented Rebel, an exhibition conceived by James Franco and also including Douglas Gordon, Harmony Korine, Damon McCarthy, Paul McCarthy, Terry Richardson, Ed Ruscha, and Aaron Young. “Fresh Kills” @ Anonymous Gallery (Mexico)

AM recently caught Aaron Young’s New York Solo Built Tough at Bortolami Gallery. The show was a departure from the motorcycle etchings we typically see by Young as he tackled the motif of America and its symbols with new body of works that included sculptures, paintings, and silkscreens.
