Over 200 works by giants of the Contemporary Art world like Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, and Damien Hirst will be paired with a newer generation of artists including Nate Lowman, Dan Colen, and Aaron Young, some of which will the first time for these artists in the South American country. The collection of pieces to be on display, entitled collectively as In the Name of the Artists, will be housed in the São Paulo Biennial Pavilion and is made possible by sponsorship from IGUATEMI with the works on loan from the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo.

It sounds like Jeff Koons, Tom Sachs, Nate Lowman, and Gunnar Kvaran are scheduled to appear at the opening so make sure you stop by if you are in the area. For a full list of the artists you can look here, but we have more preview images for you after the jump…
