Previews: “Suggestivism: Resonance 2018” @ Spoke Art (New York)

On July 7th, Spoke Art’s New York location will be hosting the Suggestivism: Resonance 2018 group exhibition. The long running series of shows are the brainchild of artist Nathan Spoor, who is curating the roster as well as contributing a piece to the show. Releases: Charlie Immer // IxRUN – “The Funk Of 40,000 Years” Print

Fans of Charlie Immer’s work can now purchase The Funk Of 40,000 Years, a print just released through 1xRUN. The image is taken from Lyric 3, a show last year at the Inner State Gallery that was musically themed and curated by Glenn Barr. Immer was inspired by the song Thriller by Michael Jackson to paint this piece and included one of his signature skeletons painted in his characteristic style. If you attended any of the previous Supersonic Invitational shows, you know you’re in for a treat.
