It looks like Dave White, who showed in Art Copenhagen last year (covered), decided to give his fans in Denmark a proper gallery show. The new body of work for Americana currently on at Galleri Jules Julian explores some of the iconography particular to the US, mainly cowboys and Indians, all painted in the loose style White has been using recently. Last night, AM attended the opening party for the South Park Art Gallery (previewed). Currently showing over in Denmark at this year’s Art Copenhagen is Dave White’s “Forgotten Alchemy”. The series is a little different from the signature sneaker paintings he is famous for, but you can definitely see his style come through with these gun renderings. During Armory Week, there were a few things that caught our attention. One of the highlights of the Bridge Art Fair was British gallery Opus Art who traveled from the UK to show New York just what they have to offer.
