David Shillinglaw (see the studio visit here) recently opened a new solo exhibition entitled You Are Here at Scream Gallery in London. A large crowd gathered to see the re-creation of the studio space of the artist, like an exploration of his creative mind, and enjoyed the new body of work on canvas, paper and wood, featuring symbols and typography with British artist’s signature sunny colour palette. Streets: Living Walls (London)

Moniker Projects and Create teamed up a couple of months ago for Living Walls, a public arts programme for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Last month, White Walls Gallery in San Francisco opened a group exhibition entitled Space//Squared. Curated by Sven Davis, the showing was a followup to an event last year in Portland (covered). Openings: “Wider than a postcard” & olive47 – “bonita bonita” @ Breeze Block Gallery

Breeze Block Gallery opened their huge group show Wider than a postcard (previewed) alongside the first solo show in their new gallery 2 space – olive47’s bonita bonita (featured) a couple of weeks back to a packed Portland crowd. Over 400 individual works went into the postcard show with 200 artists providing postcard sized works. Streets: London’s largest mural by Agents of Change

With the sun shining and scaffolding removed, wraps have come off London’s largest graffiti mural, covering two sides of a six-storey building in King’s Cross. Members of the Agents of Change crew with London based Remi/Rough, Edinburgh’s Steve More, LX.One from Paris, LA-based Augustine Kofie created this colourful geometrical artwork using over 500 litres of spray paint.
