Previews: “Domesticity” @ Volery Gallery

Opening on March 15th, the Domesticity group exhibition at Volery Gallery will explore the interior space as the fated environment for mankind with work from 17 international artists. Streets / Recap: Dubai Street Museum

The first phase of the Dubai Street Museum project was recently completed with the participation of 12 international and local artists, producing 16 murals on themes drawn from the UAE’s history and heritage. Organized by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, and Dubai Municipality, this project seeks to highlight the UAE’s unique history, achievements and aspirations through public artworks. Streets: Slinkachu (Dubai)

Recently in the UAE, miniature street sculptor Slinkachu created 10 new works Dubai Walls. These installations were hidden in plain site by the British street artist who will also be contributing some photography for a huge open-air wall in City Walk. His first show in the Middle East, We Are Beginning: Personal Projects in Public Spaces, opened this week at Cuadro Fine Art Gallery in Dubai.
