Showing: Michael De Feo – “The Fashion Pages” @ The Garage

On April 8th, The Garage in Amsterdam opened a solo show by Michael De Feo, otherwise known as “The Flower Guy.” The artist that has received worldwide recognition with the iconic flowers that he’s been painting for nearly 25 years will be introducing a new body of work entitled The Fashion Pages. This new selection of work marks a significant turn in the career of one of street art’s pioneers. Stepping away from his signature symbol, but staying within the same idyllic symbolism, these new pieces evolved from his recent takeovers of the […]

Openings: Michael De Feo – “A Pocket Full Of Posies” @ Rush Arts Gallery

Last week, Rush Arts Gallery welcomed in a set of new paintings from Michael De Feo, his first solo in New York in more than 10 years. A Pocket Full of Posies from the man famously known for his iconic flower motif, oftentimes painted illegally on the streets, is somewhat of a departure artistically for him but makes sense as he explores his chosen subject in a more painterly fashion. Take a look at more photos from the opening below and head over to the […]

Dolan has been a fixture in Shoreditch, sitting in the same spot for the last three years with his faithful canine companion drawing the changing urban landscape of the area while interacting with many of the artists that create public art in the area. With a 20 year history of homelessness himself, […]

Streets: Michael De Feo in Hong Kong
