Mazer Lazer recently unveiled their latest music video Aerosol Can featuring Pharrell and the artistic stylings of Mike Giant. In the footage, you can see the heavily tattooed (last covered by us in 2012) Bay Area artist showing off his calligraphy skills as he writes out the song lyrics, augmented by graphics. Last Friday evening, Mike Giant opened his latest show, Confessions of an Old Dirty Skateboarder at FFDG. The show consisted of new drawings on paper (in his signature clean and precise style done with a Sharpie), Skater Girl photograph prints, as well as an installation of the artist’s personal skate deck collection that serves as a retrospective of the designs he has done over the years. Legendary artist David Lynch recently got together with Dom Pérignon for a collaborative project. The American filmmaker, television director, visual artist, musician, and actor designed some limited versions of the Champagne brand’s bottles along with the packaging featuring the theme of flickering lights. Last Saturday, Guererro Gallery hosted the opening for an exhibition featuring two artists who are truly masters at their craft: Mike Giant and Adam 5100 (previewed). Both artists displayed work not typically found in their previous exhibitions, which gave the show a more personal feel.
