Tonight in New York, Joshua Liner Gallery will play host to a group exhibition curated by Andrew Schoultz. Last week, Ivory & Black in London hosted their first group exhibition featuring painters Andrew Schoultz, Cleon Peterson, James Jean, Richard Colman and Ryan Travis Christian. Entitled Gin & Juice, the artists chosen all have been influenced by various Californian subcultures which in turn has informed their work and imagery. Showgoers were also greeted by James Jean (featured) who made the trip over and took time to work in a wall installation. Discuss this show here.

Tonight, May 12th, Ryan Travis Christian returns to Guerrero Gallery for the next installment of his works. In what looks like a continuation of works from his previous show last year at GG, Ryan moves to the main room with his classic use of blacks, whites and everything in between.
