Streets: Conor Harrington x JAZ // O.bra Festival (Sao Paulo)

Last month, Conor Harrington (interviewed) & Franco Fasoli aka JAZ got together to paint a wall in Brazil for the O.bra Festival (also see Titi Freak, Brusk, and INTI x Alexis Diaz). Painted over the course of 10 days in Sao Paulo, the mural measuring 37 m high and 10 m wide featured an interesting composition of two horse and riders rendered in each artist’s characteristic style. Streets: INTI x Alexis Diaz // O.bra Festival (Sao Paulo)

Recently in Sao Paulo, Chilean artist INTI combined his talents with Alexis Diaz, who hails from Puerto Rico, to create a new mural. Painted for the O.bra Festival, the wall highlights INTI’s characteristic palette as well as Diaz’s attention to detail to form a pretty interesting collaboration. After sharing with you a new mural that Titi Freak painted in Rio de Janeiro for Seido Restaurant a couple of months ago, we now have for you some of his public art for you. Featuring something that appears frequently in his work, Koi fish, the Brazilian artist once again draws from his his Japanese heritage to gift this street in Sao Paulo with his imagery. Tag and Juice Gallery in Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently opened Preto e Branco (Black and White), a show by 2501 (Jacopo Ceccarelli) and Ozmo (Gionata Gesi) from Italy. After making hitting both coasts of the US with his mural work (New York & Los Angeles), Eduardo Kobra has returned home for a new large scale project in Brazil. The 52 meter tall piece covers the entire side of a skyscraper on Paulista Avenue, one of Sao Paulo’s busiest streets, and is Kobra’s tribute to the famed Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104.
