Here is a little teaser image for Mark Brown’s show coming up at the end of this month.Â As a promising emerging artist, we are pleased to see him get his first solo show, entitled “The Lost MacGuffin,” opening April 28th at Gallery 1988 (LA).Â Expect the usual cast of characters thrown together in complex and frenetic combinations with a touch of symbolism. AM last showed you street artist Judith Supine’s colorful psychedelic imagery with the unveiling of his massive 18 x 16′ kinetic sculpture piece at the 15 Years of New Image Art show back in January. Tessar Lo made his solo exhibition debut this past Saturday with â€œFuture Perfectâ€ (previewed) at LeBasse Projects. Lo certainly impressed with this latest series of dream-like paintings which represents his exploration of “independence and hope for my personal history. Brandi Milne’s “Run Rabbit, Run” (previewed) opened this past Friday, April 10th at Thinkspace Gallery. There was a very unique, fun-filled vibe to this show. Those who attended the exhibition opening were treated to a wonderful new series of work and the chance to participate in Brandi’s “Easter Egg Hunt”. Throughout most of the night, plastic easter egg hunt eggs were placed in random places inside and outside of Thinkspace gallery. More photos after the jump…

Shepard Fairey “Supply & Demand” Museum Retrospective to Travel

It seems that Shepardâ€™s recentÂ dramaÂ with the AP and Boston’s finest doesn’t phase the higher-ups in the Contemporary Art world. AM has learned that Shepard Fairey’sÂ debut solo museum exhibition “Supply and Demand,” which opened (covered)Â at the Boston ICA in February, will be traveling to at least two other museums.
