On Saturday night, Evan Hecox premiered his first solo, “The Last Thousand Years,” (previewed) in New York. Joshua Liner Gallery was filled with fans eager to get a glimpse of his work. The Vietnamese themed show dazzled onlookers as Evan took the time greet and draw for many of his fans with his book “Urban Abstract” in hand. We even spotted his fellow peers – Matzu and Molly Crabapple hanging out. Overall, the show clearly showcased the talents of Hecox’s architectural abstracts and his ability to work with numerous mediums.
