We are very excited about our friend RJ’s upcoming group show “The Thousands” at Village Underground, which opens tonight, November 18th. In addition to Jose Parla (above), the exhibition will include work from some of the best street artists in the world: WK InteractSwoon (interviewed), Faile, Os Gemeos, Banksy, Know Hope, Nick Walker (interviewed)Adam Neate (interviewed), KAWS, Judith Supine, Herakut (interviewed), Chris Stain (interviewed), Armsrock (interviewed), Barry McGee, Elbow-Toe (interviewed) and more.

The opening will also double as the launch for RJ’s fantastic book The Thousands: Painting Outside, Breaking In (pictured after the jump), published by Drago, which features artist profiles, photos of artwork both on the street and in the home, and thoughts on the scene at large. Check out AM’s preview from over the summer, see artwork and install shots after the jump, then stay tuned for our coverage of the night!
