Following the recent fire where graffiti artist Rowdy lost just about everything he had, the “Rooftop Burner Fund” benefit auction kicks off this week on the 24th of June. If you missed our interview with Rowdy last week you can catch it here and check out some background information, plus check details of the auction and images of some of the work generously donated by some of Rowdy’s friends and fellow artists on the organizer’s Steal from Work’s website.

Sure to bring in lots of attention, the biggest ticket is this wonderful one of a kind Banksy piece. The unique colourway of the Nola image is silkscreened on paper and has been hand-finished by Banksy, rather cheekily with the words “fire sale.”

Bid high, and bid often – it’s for a worthwhile cause. The auctions will be via e-bay at: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/stealfromwork. The first items in the auction start 24th June and will be added in a staggered manner. The first items ends Sunday 4th July. Check out some close-ups of the Banksy, and details of some further pieces after the jump.
