It’s been a wild few weeks of activity in which Yoshitomo Nara & Asia Society blessed the city of New York with a series of statues along Park Avenue, an Open-Studio Visit and a fantastic retrospective. It would be only fitting to send Nara-san back to Japan with a big bash. And indeed, earlier this week, Asia Society hosted a museum gala for its distinguished guest artist with many of the art scene’s who’s who was in attendance. A fun time was had by all as DJ Yo La Tengo & High Teen Boogie provided the entertainment while food and drinks flowed continuously.
Check it all out after the jump.
