Whilst AM was in London last week, we bumped into Spanish artist and London resident Loreta Sáez Franco at the Frieze Art Fair. A couple weeks ago, the show we told you about, “There is Nothing Dear (There Is Too Much Dear)”, opened up in Toronto at the Show & Tell Gallery. The exhibition featured some beautiful works from Know Hope (some of his most complex ever we feel), as well as installations throughout the showspace. Last week, we had the pleasure of making the journey out to the Tate Modern in London to experience Ai Weiwei’s latest installation. The contemporary artist from China worked with the village of Jingdezhen to individually mold and hand paint over 100 million ceramic “Sunflower Seeds” which lined the entry hall adjacent to main doors of the museum. One of our favorite artists, Nicoletta Ceccoli (interviewed), will be opening up a new solo show at the end of this month in Italy.
