As we reported earlier in the week, The Standard Miami served as ground zero today for a more intimate, less rushed signing of KAWS’ new book with Rizzoli, where guests were invited to sit down with the artist and share some time. Partnering with OHWOW, the local gallery who seemingly has their hands in everything special going on during Art Basel Week, the swanky pop-up shop was ripe with exclusively published art books, a selection of artwork and custom products only offered for the weekend from artists like Scott Campbell, José Parlá, Tim Barber, Dan Colen and Terence Koh. The unique STND/OHWOW is designed by acclaimed architect Rafael de Cárdenas and is worthy of a swing through for anyone in the South Beach area.
