Tony Shafrazi’s booth was one of the first ones we made a beeline to when we entered the main fair at Art Basel. As advertised, our attention was dominated by Robert Williams’ newest sculpture, The Brain Trap, which we can fully reveal now. This was surrounded by other paintings from Williams along with the Diamond in a Goat’s Ass sculpture, and work by Dennis Hopper, and Ed Ruscha.
