Fresh off a summer that saw him exhibiting in the Portsmouth Museum of Art and causing a ruckus in the streets of New Hampshire, Bumblebee goes all out in a return to his hometown with these two recent pieces. The first is Passed Out, a mural painted by the artist at the shop’s request on the side of Sherman McNulty Frame Gallery in Hollywood. This year during Art Basel Miami, DB Burkeman—who brought us Stickers: Stuck Up Piece of Crap (covered) and The Sticker Wall (covered)—will be presenting Slap Happy at Wynwood Walls (covered). For the project, DB and Paul Weston invited 75 artists and designers from around the globe to create a same-sized black and white sticker. Openings: Supakitch – “Clé De Soul” @ Galerie LJ

Brooklyn-based French artist Supakitch recently returned to his home country to open his new show at Paris’ Galerie LJ. The exhibition entitled Clé De Soul is Supa’s first with the gallery, and includes a beautiful collection of his colorful paintings, works on paper and mixed-media pieces. Releases: Joe Ledbetter – 12″ Mutant Bunny (Hand Painted) Part II

Several months ago, we brought your attention to the first set of hand-painted mutant bunny sculptures from Joe Ledbetter. The LA-based painter and art toy mogul has not released the next five of what will be an eventual total of 40. The 12″ figures (sculpted by Pretty in Plastic) are priced at $1500 and should be the crown jewel in the collection of any fan of Ledbetter’s three-dimensional work. Last weekend, alongside Jeremy Fish, the Mark Moore Gallery also featured the work of Kenichi Yokono. The last time we had an opportunity to take in a large body of work from the Japanese artist, it was 2009 and we were at Art Basel Miami week. Rise of the Underground featured more of his signature carved woodblocks and it was a joy to examine his intricate details close up. Streets: El Mac (Barcelona)

Gifted street muralist El Mac is at it again, this time in Spain. This new piece was painted on the side of the Montana paint factory (a brand that he has used many times over the years) in Barcelona. Based on his model Lacheln, the wall done in a palette limited to black, gray and whites, and is a nice contrast to an adjacent mural by Os Gemeos. More photos after the jump…
