Opening this Thursday, Oct 10, is Quam Odunsi’s second solo exhibition at Design Matters Gallery in Los Angeles. Titled The Reagents, this brand new body of work, in which the Los Angeles-based artist takes on the role of a government surveillance official who starts to become more and more absorbed with his citizens and their private lives, features 35mm, 120mm, and Polaroid images taken with actual film (none of that digital stuff) cameras. The show will include printed silkscreen and film works, painting on canvas, and sculpture.
