Last year, we brought you images from Vhils’ (filmed) show in Brazil where portraits of the country’s indigenous Araçaí community were carved the doors of their homes and put on display at at Caixa Cultural. Nowness released a video a couple days ago from the Portuguese street artist that looks into the project a little deeper and hopes to draw attention to the plight of the 90 Guaraní people were moved by the government at the turn of this century, displacing them from their ancestral homes.
