VNA Magazine is proudly introducing their landmark issue #30 featuring a true godfather of graffiti, Futura, as their cover artist. Aside from giving a nice overview on his work from the Futura2000 days and beyond, including a conversation about the stratospheric highs and crushing lows of his dramatic life and career, the limited edition box set includes a couple of nice goodies for his fans.

Created in collaboration with their friends at White Duck Screen Print, each box set features Futura’s artwork screen-printed on the box and magazine cover, a set of four die-cut stickers and and an exclusive wooden model of the Futura tag on the Brooklyn Bridge. Aside from Futura coverage, the new issue brings a feature on Reka, an in-depth chat with Rufus Dayglo, a little look-in from Italian artist Mr Thoms, a retrospective review over the last decade of D*Face’s StolenSpace Gallery and a look at the post-industrial, kinetically-charged paintings of Aaron Li-Hill.

The box sets will be available to buy exclusively at the London launch this Thursday 4th June from Great Eastern Bear in Shoreditch. The VNA guys have also lined up complimentary beers from Brooklyn-based brewmasters, Sixpoint, as well as a few select paintings from some of their favorite artists, some spicy snacks courtesy of Soffle’s Pitta Chips, and last but not least, D*face will be painting a billboard to guide you to the event space, supported by Ironlak, with LOL Cool J playing some groovy tunes.
