On October 10th, Matt Dangler (interviewed) will be opening a new solo at Copro Gallery, the site of his showing in Los Angeles in 2012 (covered). Entitled Sanctify, the title is perhaps a hint at some of the heavier topics that the gifted painter will be exploring with his surreal vision. An example of what to expect can be seen in the piece above, The Promised Land, as well as in the preview images below.
