Tonight in Los Angeles, the Work In Progress popup show (317 S. Boylston Street) curated Doug Davis and Roger Gastman will open their doors to Black Friday shoppers and keep art available for purchase all the way through Christmas (December 27th). Featuring work from a diverse roster of artists including Ed Ruscha, Lisa Schulte, John Baldessari, POSE, REVOK, Richard Colman, Shawn Kolodny, Adam Wallacavage, Cleon Petersen, Tasya Van Ree, Sage Vaughn, and more, the new exhibition held in an old karaoke bar will allow you to take the artwork you purchase with you the day of and replace it with something new leading to a new viewer experience next time you attend.
