Currently showing in Detroit at Library Street Collective is a four person exhibition featuring contributions from Paul Kremer, Mark Flood, MOMO, and REVOK. Entitled Machine Show and curated by Kremer, the focus was on the unique art-making tools, processes, and methodology behind their work. On display are the organic abstractions from Kremer created by dropping paint on rotating easels of his own design, the signature lace paintings from Flood, examples of pieces created by MOMO’s Wall Eater winch which tears carefully arranged drawings from behind glued paper, and the art resulting REVOK’s innovative spray paint apparatuses.
