Earlier this month in Belgium, the third iteration of the The Crystal Ship art festival (also see 2016 & 2017) welcomed in an international roster of artists to create murals and art installations in the coastal city of Ostend. One of the standout walls comes from Sainer (featured) of the Etam Cru entitled Podkarpacie, a painterly piece which appears to be named after a province in Poland. The stunning mural highlights Sainer’s skills when playing with soft focus and perspective, while working with a muted palette.
We’ll have a recap of the murals for you soon from the other participants including: A Squid Called Sebastian, Ben Slow, Colectivo Licuado, Dourone, Gaia, Icy & Sot, Jaune, Joachim, Johannes Verschaeve, Matthew Dawn, Milu Correch, Oak Oak, Telmo & Miel, Wasp Elder, and Zoer x Velvet.
