For his first solo show with Thinkspace Gallery opening up on this Friday night (May 4th), Lonac has prepared a new body of work entitled Strange Tales. Choosing a title that fits nicely with his surreal imagery, the Croatian artist’s new paintings are typical of his oeuvre, snapshots in time that appear to be taken from some mysterious adventure. Informed by his time on the streets, the Zagreb-based artist also draws influence from his love of comics, music, film, and an immersion in skateboard culture.
