At the end of this month in Berlin, Pejac will be presenting a new body of work that he has been preparing for the past two and half years in a show entitled Apnea. The 45 new artworks on display will be the Spanish artist’s largest exhibition to date and will be held in a former train manufacturing facility in the German capital (Modersohnstraße 35-45 10245 Berlin – Friedrichshain). He states – “Most of the works were conceived while the world was holding its breath. APNEA for me means breathing again. During a time of lockdown, painting within the four walls of my studio felt like a liberation and a lifeline. APNEA represents this contradiction.”
