On Sunday, CARBON came to a close in Melbourne, Australia. The festival consisting of some major players in the art, style, and design fields hosted a live painting session on the final night. Among the artists represented, Futura was unquestionably the main attraction. It’s rare enough to see his work in the flesh, let alone to witness him work his magic with the can firsthand. AM was privy to just such a treat a few weeks back, as he worked his abstract wizardy on the massive collaborative mural outside MOCA the week before Art in the Streets officially opened. A treat, for sure.
