After making an appearance in Hong Kong and Ibiza, KAWS’ monumental Clean Slate sculpture has reached its final resting place. The NorthPark Center in Dallas has added the piece featuring the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature Companion figures to their impressive permanent collection that includes Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Joel Shapiro, Jim Dine, Jonathan Borofsky, James Rosenquist, Antony Gormley, Barry Flanagan and Beverly Pepper, among others. Shoppers at the luxury mall can find this new piece located on Level One near Macy’s. Fans in Dallas should also be reminded that KAWS’ show at the Fort Worth opens next week, a mere 30 something miles away.
