If you missed Mark Dean Veca’s Phantasmagoria show at the Ben Maltz Gallery (Otis College of Art and Design), make sure you make a trip down to San Diego on Jan 30th. He will be exhibiting at another academic institution, this time UC San Diego at the UAG Gallery. The exhibition is entitled “Paintings, Wall Drawings, and Collaborations,” and it appears that there will be some new work mixed in with a mini “retrospective” – documentation/studies of projects, works he has collaborated on for Ford, Nike, Burton, etc… Stop by if you have a chance, especially if you like brain gyri.
