Supreme recently announced their latest artist collaboration project with none other than famed sculptor Urs Fischer. The Swiss-born artist has elected to use the image of a cigarette, in various states of use, for the latest installment of the streetwear brand’s longstanding artist deck series. Releases: D*Face – “Beethoven Bust”

D*Face (interviewed) has been working on a new vinyl toy recently that takes the face of Beethoven and remixes it with his distinctive imagery. The subverted image of the famous musician and composer features the British artist’s famous wings and will retail for about $400 come June through the Japanese toy company Medicom. Upcoming: Jen Stark Pots @ Rob Pruitt Flea Market

Tomorrow (February 14th) from noon-5pm, Jen Stark will be selling some customized pots at the Rob Pruitt Flea Market. The market event from Pruitt has had many iterations in the past with the latest being Sunday in Downtown LA (1019 E 4th Place). Along with other artists friends, Stark will be peddling her wares – some of her iconic colorful and psychedelic patterns painted on plant holders. Discuss Jen Stark here.

Releases: Mark Ryden – “Surrealist Plate”

Those who followed our coverage of Baby Tattooville last year probably remember one of the prized possessions attendees received during the event – a plate designed by Mark Ryden (interviewed). Featuring his iconic imagery, the “Surrealist Plate” was used during the special dinner prepared for the Surrealistic Ball (covered) he hosted with Marion Peck on the final night. Releases: Futura x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II collection

Starting next month, the Futura Chuck Taylor All Star II collection from Converse will be releasing at specialty retailers, Converse stores and online at Converse.com. This project with the NY graffiti legend will be the first artist collaboration with the redesigned Chuck Taylor All Star from the American shoe company. Releases: Ernest Zacharevic – “Norwegian Bubble” Cross-Stiched Pieces

You may remember earlier this year during the NuArt Festival, Ernest Zacharevic painted a mural (seen below) in Stavenger referencing the Norwegian cross-stitch with the twist being the burning house. For this holiday season, he has teamed up with his partner-in-crime, Sheena Liam, to create a series entitled Norwegian Bubble of 12 individual frames that they are making available thru email – [email protected]. This seems to be an appropriate time to remind people of the collaboration between Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) and 500 Skateboards seeing as tonight is when the Force Awakens. The full specs can be found here, but each cruiser collab, which the Los Angeles-based artist entitled Stormy Knight, comes with a COA and is produced in an edition of 500.
