Baby Tattooville ’14: Secret Store

Every edition of Baby Tattooville includes a “Secret Store” where attendees (in order of their seniority at the event) are allowed to purchase art merchandise and even original works form the participating artists. The highlight of this year’s setup were paintings that were used for this year’s print set including an stunning piece from Joe Sorren (seen above). Fashion: Yoskay Yamamoto x Big Bad Wolf Tee Release

Some of our friends behind POW! WOW! recently started Big Bad Wolf with the goal of bringing street inspired fashion, art and culture down to the little ones. Their current plan is to release a limited edition artist tee once a month and kickstarting things is a design by Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed). Fashion: Sterling Ruby x Raf Simons x Kate Moss

Kate Moss, who has been a muse for many an artist, was recently decked out in new Sterling Ruby painted parkas and photographed for AnOther Magazine. The paint-splattered limited edition garments, which would apparently cost you about the price of a car, are part of Dior creative director Raf Simons’ Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Last week, we shared some photos with our readers of Shepard Fairey’s (featured) new mural in NYC for the L.I.S.A. Project. During his time in New York, he also hosted the official NYC launch of his signature design for this year’s Hennessy V.S Limited Edition artist bottle at ARENA. With the opening of his Los Angeles exhibition scheduled in less than three weeks, KAWS will give the public another high profile look at his imagery with the launch of Pharrell’s fragrance “G I R L” this week. Released by Commes des Garçons online at Dover Street Market on August 28th and in-store in London on September 1st, the signature scent features a design by KAWS and will continue the long standing friendship (collector, curator) between the singer-songwriter and New York-based artist. VNA magazine just revealed the contents and the look of the limited edition of their newest issue #27 that will be available tonight at the official release party @ StolenSpace in London. With Aryz as their cover artist, the magazine released 3 different covers – regular, subscription and the limited one. The limited edition comes packed in a screen printed box, has a screen printed cover, and includes some neat Aryz stickers. From the 15th till 19th of August, gallery Ruttkowski;68 in Cologne will be showing the new works from this year’s MyFinBec project. The annual series organized by the winery Cave Fin Bec in Switzerland commissions artists to create wine labels for their special limited edition organic wine. This year’s lineup included VHILS from Portugal, Herakut from Germany, C215 from France, and Etam Cru from Poland. In every instance, eight different labels were painted on stacks of 84 crates each. Shepard Fairey x Hennessy – VS Cognac Bottle Launch (Los Angeles)

A little over a week ago, Hennessy held the Los Angeles launch of their latest artist created V.S Limited Edition bottle at the Create nightclub. Created by Shepard Fairey (featured), the new version featuring his distinctive OBEY imagery joined the line of previous collaborations with Futura (covered) & KAWS (covered), and Os Gemeos (covered).
